Smart Workout's Personal Trainings include Total Body Conditioning for overall cardio and muscle strength; privates in Pilates Reformer and Yoga; and Sports Strength for Golf, Tennis and Skiing.
Total Body Conditioning
Body conditioning combines weight resistance and cardio modules, each of which differs from session to session to ensure a well rounded workout regime, and gradual increase in workload. Each module targets the body in different ways, using different toys to achieve desired goals. We incorporate TRX suspension training, kettlebells, boxing bags, medicine balls, and BOSU, to name some.
Golf trainings strengthen the lower body, the back, the upper body, and core, to improve swing distance. Body alignment and flexibility exercises help to improve swing accuracy. Our trainings incorporate use of the Golf Gym Power Swing Trainer.
Tennis trainings strengthen the arms and back, to increase the power of a player's serve, forehand, and backhand. Quick feet training improves speed and agility. Cardio conditioning increases endurance. We incorporate use of Airopes, to develop strength in the wrists and arms.
Skiing trainings strengthen the leg muscles, to enable quicker/tighter turns. Developing core strength adds control when using edges. Cardio conditioning increases endurance. We incorporate use of the TRX suspension trainer to develop stability alignment.
Yoga is a therapy which helps our patrons to become more aware of their body's posture, alignment, and patterns of movement. It makes the body more flexible, and helps to induce relaxation.
For someone new to yoga, personal trainings are the perfect way to get started. Physiological benefits of yoga include lubrication of the joints, ligaments, and tendons.
Working privately with a Smart Workout certified Pilates instructor helps to shape long, strong and sleek muscles; improve flexibility and balance; strengthen the back and improve posture; and, condition the "core" (abdominal musculature, glutes, hips, inner thighs, and lower back muscles).
Personal trainings are sold as a package of 10 for $650; and a package of 20 for $1200; Pilates privates are $850 for 10, and $1600 for 20. (All packages expire 5 months from purchase.)
