Belly Dancing injects fun into fitness training, providing a gym workout for your muscles, while engaging in this exciting art form. The “shoulder shimmy” engages deltoids, biceps, and triceps. Hip drops work the obliques, glutes, calves, and quads; and the shifting of the body weight from one leg to the other leg provides safe increases in loading on the hip joint, knees, and ankles.
