One of the reasons why many people get into the fitness industry is to share their knowledge with others and assist them in reaching their goals. However, when you work in the industry, one of the very best benefits is that you are surrounded by like-minded individuals who share that passion. Eventually, if you’re lucky you’ll find yourself working at a place where the staff is all supportive of each other, help out to get clients to reach their goals, and  find that each instructor also has passions outside the workplace. And today, we’d like to showcase that.

One of our newer additions to the Smart Workout staff, Mary Silverstein, also runs The Pink Tutu Ballet Company.  When she isn’t kicking someone’s butt here at our fitness facility, Mary choreographs numbers for performances! Over Thanksgiving weekend, Mary’s company was featured in a Showcase at Alvin Ailey.

Mary also went through our Pilates Certification program, and has already had amazing success teaching.  Through dedication and growth, we think Mary is a perfect example of how to turn a passion into a successful career- and we were happy to help her through that journey!
